The Department of Energy of Politecnico di Milano, the Laboratory of Analysis of Signals and Analysis of Risk (LASAR) and the Energy Data and Information Lab (EDILAB) organize two courses about risk assessment: Fundamentals of Quantitative Risk Assessment and Advanced Quantitative Risk & Resilience Assessment
The Fundamentals of Quantitative Risk Assessment Course intends to consider the safety problems deriving from modern industrial activities and to present the methodologies that allow the assessment and control of associated risks. In particular, the course intends to offer adequate technical-scientific knowledge on critical safety issues, risk analysis, reliability engineering and provide the basic methodological tools for their rigorous treatment.
The Advanced Quantitative Risk & Resilience Assessment Course intends to present the methodologies that allow the integrated assessment of risk and resilience. In particular, the course intends to offer adequate technical-scientific knowledge on advanced risk and resilience assessment methods and provide the most recent methodological tools for their rigorous treatment.
